Peak Design Mobile Straps Review: Crossbody, Cuff, and Multi-Strap (2026)

Peak Design has unveiled a range of mobile-friendly straps, designed to be quick-adjusting, low-profile, comfortable, and durable. These straps are not just for phones; they're also perfect for compact cameras. The collection includes three unique straps: the Mobile Crossbody Multi-Strap, the Mobile Crossbody Strap, and the Mobile Cuff. Each strap is compatible with various cases, including Peak Design's own, Apple's iPhone 17 case, and third-party options, thanks to an included adapter. Peak Design demonstrates the straps' versatility by showcasing them attached to a small film camera, indicating their suitability for compact point-and-shoot cameras.

The Mobile Crossbody Multi-Strap is a versatile option, designed to carry a set of small essentials like a phone, keys, and more. It features a tangle-free Micro Anchor and built-in swivel, which together prevent twisting. The custom-machined and anodized aluminum carabiner can hold up to three Micro Anchors and locks shut. The strap's length is adjustable between 35.4 inches and 66 inches, thanks to glass-reinforced nylon hardware.

The Crossbody Strap offers a simpler, two-point carry solution, utilizing the same Micro Anchor system and adjustable rope. It also includes accessory loop hardware, allowing it to be converted to a single-point carry or stowed on the body when not in use. The strap has a minimum size of 35 inches and a maximum size of 65 inches.

The Mobile Cuff, a wrist strap, employs the same Micro Anchor system as the previous two straps but in a compact profile. It automatically tightens in the event of an accidental drop and features loop adjustment via aluminum hardware, which can be set to a minimum loop size. The Cuff has a minimum size of 7.9 inches, a cinched size of 8.7 inches, and a maximum (fully cinched) size of 14.2 inches.

All three straps are available in three colors: black, ocean, and ibis. The Peak Design Mobile Crossbody Multi-Strap is priced at $59.95, the Crossbody Strap at $49.95, and the Mobile Cuff at $29.95. These straps are a testament to Peak Design's commitment to delivering sleek, stylish, and durable mobile accessories, built around an intuitive MicroAnchor connection system.
