Dior, a fashion powerhouse, has made a bold move by expanding its brand ambassador program with the addition of three talented actors: Mike Faist, Sam Nivola, and Will Price. This move solidifies Dior's commitment to supporting and celebrating creative talent.
Faist, known for his role in "Challengers" alongside Josh O'Connor, will now represent Dior's collections designed by the visionary Jonathan Anderson. Anderson, Dior's creative director, has praised Faist's performances, describing them as "a beautiful restlessness" and "a defining talent of his generation." Faist and O'Connor's collaboration with Dior continues their journey together, as they recently walked the runway at the haute couture show in Paris.
But here's where it gets interesting: Faist's upcoming project, the Netflix limited series "East of Eden," will showcase his talent alongside the incredible Florence Pugh. This series promises to be a highlight of the year for many fans.
"To support creators is to embrace the vibrant world around us," Faist said, expressing his honor to support Anderson as both a fan and a friend.
Nivola, a star of "The White Lotus," also attended Anderson's couture debut, leaving a lasting impression. Nivola's natural charm and charisma have caught the eye of Anderson, who believes he embodies the spirit of Dior. Nivola's recent work includes the Hulu series "Phony," where he will star alongside Connie Britton.
"His performances are captivating and memorable," Anderson said of Nivola. "I'm thrilled to continue our collaboration."
Nivola's connection to Dior began with a teaser video campaign for Anderson's debut menswear show last June. He described the experience as "profoundly innovative and cool."
The relationship between Anderson and many celebrities, including Nivola and Price, can be traced back to Anderson's creative collaboration with Luca Guadagnino. Price, who starred in Guadagnino's "After the Hunt," has impressed Anderson with his instinctive and thoughtful approach.
"Will is an incredible talent, and I felt an immediate connection with him," Anderson shared.
Price, an American actor, has been a frequent guest at Dior's menswear shows and has donned Dior on the red carpet, most recently at Sundance.
"Dior represents the pinnacle of fashion's aspirations, and Jonathan continues to breathe new life into that spirit," Price said, expressing his honor to be a part of this chapter in Dior's history.
Since the beginning of the year, Dior has welcomed an impressive roster of brand ambassadors, including LaKeith Stanfield, Drew Starkey, Taylor Russell, Florence Hunt, Sophie Wilde, and Ever Anderson.
This diverse group of talented individuals will undoubtedly contribute to Dior's continued success and influence in the fashion world.
